In the framework of this ambitious plan, the company has also introduced a method of customer service based on visits to the workshop and increased its presence in national and international fairs

Metalcaucho, leading European supplier of after-sales spare parts in rubber and metal for the automotive sector, has implemented an ambitious plan with new quality policies in its clear commitment to guarantee and reinforce the high reliability of its entire portfolio of products, equivalent to the original equipment, but with a more competitive cost.
In this sense, Metalcaucho has invested 3.2% of its annual billing in machinery of last generation to strengthen the quality and constant improvement of the products it provides to all its customers. The company has recently incorporated into its quality laboratory, cutting-edge control and product validation machinery, in order to have a more accurate equipment to reinforce the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire process.
Some of the renewed machines that the company has are: traction / compression machine, material hardness analysis machine, infrared spectrometer, rubber and plastic composition analysis machine, or machine for dimensional control, among others. All of them allow us to measure and compare all Metalcaucho products with original samples, thus ensuring that they are practically identical.
In addition, Metalcaucho has also updated the ISO 9001 certification to the 2015 version for its Quality Management System, after overcoming the audit carried out by the TÜV Rheinland Certification Entity. In this way, this accreditation endorses the continuous improvement and high quality of our processes and products, the maintenance and supervision of its equipment and materials to guarantee an excellent state of conservation and operation, the exhaustive monitoring of each of our processes and the rigorous controls to which all products are subjected, among others.
This ambitious plan was impelled with the arrival of Pablo Ferrebeuf as head of the Quality Department in January 2017. In the words of Ferrebeuf: “The investment that Metalcaucho has made in a new laboratory and in machinery to promote quality is a very important step for the company, as it reaffirms its desire to offer the best aftermarket products with the highest reliability to all its customers.”.

Metalcaucho has also renewed its method of customer service with the launch of a program of visits to workshops and mechanics, thus promoting direct communication with its final customers. For this, the department has incorporated a human team expert in mechanics that travels to the end customer to listen, analyze and improve all those aspects that may come to represent a problem.
Another of the measures that the Quality Department of Metalcaucho has established is to increase the presence of the company in fairs of the sector both nationally and internationally. In fact, will be present in this edition of Motortec, the Spanish reference appointment in the sector. In this way, the company fulfills the objective of maintaining direct contact with all its customers, and keeping them informed about all the new products too.
As Ferrebeuf explains: “For Metalcaucho it’s key to dedicate all our efforts to approach our clients either through direct visits to workshops and mechanics or to increase our presence in fairs in the sector. In this way we get a direct feedback that allows us to improve our work and at the same time provide a personalized service to our customers”.
