Metalcaucho opens a new workplace in Rubí

As a result of the expansion process that the company is experiencing this last year, the result of the new business strategy of the current management of the company

The new facilities, large and with greater storage capacity, allow to store more product stock and more part numbers, in order to provide distributors with the best solutions and offer a better and faster service, reducing the delivery time to the half.

Metalcaucho, the leading European supplier of aftermarket spare parts in rubber and metal for the automobile sector, has settled in Rubí with a new work center located in the Rubí Sud Industrial Estate (Puig i Cadafalch 2 Street). The new facilities have an area of ​​more than 14,000 m2, 13.5 meters high, 11 loading docks and 2,000 m2 of offices, product development and quality, which offer better logistic and working conditions for all employees.

In this sense, the relocation of the company responds to the need for more extensive facilities with greater storage capacity, as a result of the growth that Metalcaucho is experiencing during the last year, the result of the new business strategy of the current management of the company, based on promoting internationalization, expanding the catalog of references and improving the service it provides to customers. The storage capacity of the new workplace doubles the previous facilities and is currently at 50%, so the number of references and stock can be doubled, in order to support the entire Metalcaucho growth plan.

Although not only a change of physical facilities, the new warehouse has been equipped with the latest technology in radio frequency and automation, in order to improve our level of service to our customers.

In the words of Josep Grañó, Chief Executive Officer of Metalcaucho: “we are in a key moment of expansion in which we need to respond to the growing demand of our distributors, and therefore, having optimal facilities is essential to provide them with the best solutions and provide them with a better and faster service”. And he adds: „definitely, this new space will drive the improvement of the quality of our service, reducing the delivery time in half“.
