Barcelona (Spain), February 25, 2025 – TERREPOWER, formerly BBB Industries, a world leader in sustainable manufacturing for the industrial, automotive, and heavy industry markets, continues its collaboration with the Barcelona-based vocational training school, Centre Tècnic del Vallès (CTV). For the third consecutive year, Metalcaucho, a leader in aftermarket rubber and metal spare parts, and Alfa e-Parts, a brand specializing in electrical and electronic spare parts, participated in this initiative.
As part of a conference held from February 10 to 14 on career orientation at CTV, representatives of TERREPOWER’s brands discussed job opportunities beyond traditional workshop roles. “Studying automotive does not necessarily mean you will become a workshop mechanic,” said Juan Mármol, a leading member of Metalcaucho’s Quality Department and an experienced competition mechanic.
The session featured insights from Juan Mármol, who has attended this event for three years, engaging with students in Intermediate and Advanced Automotive Degrees. His presentation highlighted alternative career paths, sharing his journey from a workshop mechanic to a quality specialist at Metalcaucho, where he has contributed to product analysis for the past eight years.
Cristina Fumero, responsible for the development of Alfa e-Parts, also provided a valuable perspective. She shared how the brand, approaching its third anniversary, is continuously expanding its product portfolio and emphasized the growing demand for electrical and electronic expertise in the automotive sector.
CTV, part of the Girona Technical School group, has specialized in vocational training since 1990. This collaboration between TERREPOWER and CTV includes initiatives such as student participation in TERREPOWER’s job bank, supporting their transition into the labor market.
